My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Jenter over 6 years ago when I developed knee problems in my 50’s. Dr. Jenter tried alternative treatments (PT and Supartz injections) before even suggesting knee replacement surgery but with nothing being truly effective, I opted for surgery. The surgery was uneventful and my recovery was smooth and without complications. After 5 years, Dr. Jenter replaced my opposite knee. Having recently passed the one year post-op anniversary of my second surgery, I am able to enjoy a pain-free and excellent quality of life which would not have been possible without the superior surgical skills of Dr. Jenter. When asked by family and friends in need of an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Jenter is the only referral I provide.

The story of our three knee replacements by Dr. Jenter . . .

Myrna

I began having knee pain in my early 60’s.  Dr. Jenter delayed my surgery for several years by giving me knee injections.  I had my first knee replacement in 2012 and the second one in 2013.  I was walking without a cane or walker in two weeks.  Dr. Jenter was available throughout the surgery and recovery.  Eleven years later (at 76 years of age) I can say Dr. Jenter changed the quality of my life.  I walk 2 - 3 miles daily and swim with no pain.

Harry

I had knee replacement surgery by Dr. Jenter in 2019 at the age of 90.  I was his last surgery before the hospital shut down due to COVID-19.  My post-op was uneventful, but even with the COVID-19 epidemic, Dr. Jenter saw me regularly to monitor my recovery.   I was an athlete all my life and thought my days of competition were over.  Dr. Jenter saw to it that I could continue to be active. I am now 94 years old and play golf twice a week, swim, and exercise for an hour daily.  Dr. Jenter’s skilled hands continue to keep me active.

Hary and I highly recommend Dr. Jenter. In addition to being an excellent surgeon, he is a delightful person with a kind and supportive bedside manner.  Thank you Dr. Jenter!

Ruth R.

As a long time patient, Dr Jenter has performed 2 joint replacement surgeries for me.
Both the total knee replacement and hip replacement surgeries were successful.
The aftercare I received was excellent, from transition to physical therapy, and followup appointments.
Dr Jenter has listened to my issues and has creative solutions to natural  pain management.
I have high praise for Dr Jenter and his entire staff and many thanks for keeping this senior active and healthy.

Gary S.

My name is Gary S. and I have been a patient of Dr. Jenter’s for over 20 years. On face, I would say that seeing Dr. Jenter has become a family affair.

He repaired a torn meniscus in my right knee. I have seen him off and on for injections since. Based on my successful treatment, my mother saw Dr. Jenter for a knee replacement and a few years later for a hip replacement.

My mother-in-law has been seeing the good doctor for injections in her knee as well. Her improvement has been so good that her two sisters have also seen Dr. Jenter for their knee replacements and one for a hip replacement as well.

On top of that, my wife’s cousin’s husband has also seen Dr. Jenter for two knee replacements.

I believe we would all enthusiastically recommend Dr. Jenter for any orthopedic attention you might require.

Sue

Sue had her right hip replaced 6 weeks ago. She's doing 100% better after the anterior approach to the total hip. Previously it was painful for her to walk, and she is now walking with no pain.

Valeria K.

In 2017 at the age of 74 I suffered a broken hip as the result of a fall. Dr. Martin Jenter performed total hip replacement surgery using the anterior method. Later that same year Dr. Jenter replaced the other hip because of normal deterioration. Both surgeries were 100% successful. Following each surgery my recovery was quick and complete. I had no infections as a result of these surgeries. I completed the physical therapy program they suggested. Now seven years later my hips are pain free and I am continuing to do everything I did prior to the surgeries.
